George Curzon letter to Mrs. Rives [manuscript], 1892 Aug. 24.

Curzon writes from Montreal to thank Mrs. Rives for her hospitality following a recent visit to Castle Hill. He mentions how fond he is of "Amy" and comments that he thinks constantly of her "charming family circle...beautiful surroundings ... mingled art, business & pleasure ... [and] grinning negro background" all of which he would like to transport to England.
